Nissan Qashqai Roadtrip with Mooch Style

Road tripping in the Qashqai

We’re always interested to know what real people think of our cars, so we were excited to have Georgia and Shayden of Mooch Style take a road trip in a new Nissan Qashqai N-TEC over a long weekend recently.

Georgia & Shayden run a lifestyle blog and are busy with renovations (as well as full-time jobs) so they were looking forward to having a break from working for a weekend. Usually they both drive hatchbacks, so they thought the larger SUV size was a welcome change, allowing for easy packing. They also said that the boot liner we put in was really handy with their puppy, who sadly didn’t get to join them on the trip!

So, what did they think of the Qashqai?

“We felt extremely safe in the Qashqai with its blind spot warnings and driver alerts. I especially enjoyed the roof, as travelling for 4-5 hours in a car soon feels like you’re in a box, however the panoramic glass roof made a huge difference and I didn’t feel that fatigue you usually get from long distance driving.”

Navigation and parking features were two things that the Mooch Style team made use of on their trip. They mentioned that inbuilt navigation that showed cues both on the centre console and the driver’s dashboard saved some marital drama, and the 360 degree cameras and assisted parking made for a stress-free time in the middle of Queenstown.

‘The Qashqai well and truly impressed us both. Georgia was impressed most with its comfort and leather finishings and I enjoyed the additional features like stationary braking instead of having to put your foot on the brake, the panoramic roof and the aesthetic of the exterior.”
