Arriving early next year, the 2013 Nissan Patrol is, please excuse the cliché, set to be a real game changer. The new Patrol has the heart of the new Nissan V8 Supercar and a class-leading 3,500kg braked tow rating.
Never one to be shy of demonstrating its power, the powerful 5.6L V8 petrol engine will boast a massive 298kW of power and 560Nm of torque. This massive power will be handled by a surprisingly smooth 7-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.
A first for the commercial market, the Nissan Patrol will feature a Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HMBC) suspension system to ensure the on-road and off-road ride is effortless.
In terms of looks, the new bold grille and stunning light clusters are a real head-turner. The luxury continues through to the black leather interior, making the new Patrol 2013’s civilised SUV.
